Yellow Pyramid Butterfly (Hemitaurichthys polylepis)
This is one of the hardier, and most reef-safe butterflies available. It will accept a wide variety of foods. It should be housed in a large tank with plenty of swimming space. Lots of water movement will also be appreciated. Keep it singly, in pairs or in small groups. It is more likely to acclimate to its new home if it is not pestered by its tankmates, although once it has fully adjusted to life in captivity, moderately bold fishes can be introduced.
