Ctenochaetus strigosus
The Striped Bristletooth Tang is similar to, but a different species, than the Hawaiian Kole tang. A 55 gallon or larger aquarium is necessary to provide plenty of swimming room. It can be aggressive towards other tangs, so should be the only tang in your tank unless it is very large (180 gallons or larger). It is an ideal candidate for a reef tank.
Like all tangs, these need a diet rich in vegetable matter: nori, spirulina, or even broccoli.
